We can no longer ignore Ebola’s wider impact – particularly on women

Ebola: Women are not only more likely to be infected; their education, healthcare, food security and livelihoods are also suffering. Each day brings stories of the hidden harm to all facets of people’s lives, including education, maternal healthcare, food security and livelihoods. From the accounts I’ve heard, one thing is evident: women are particularly vulnerable to the virus.
