Transforming ideas into reality

Whether you are an individual or organization, activism to prevent VAW stems from a deep personal belief in the change you seek, and a dedication to making that change. This reaffirms our power within and compels us to take positive action in our lives and communities to prevent VAW. At the GBV Prevention Network we foster both individual and collective activism. We recognize that activism is a commitment that runs long and deep and that an activist’s work is the work of a lifetime. Through our Thematic Action Groups and 16 Days Campaigns we strengthen collective action throughout the region. We respond to VAW issues as they arise through our urgent action section.
