Sex and Age Matter: Improving Humanitarian Response in Emergencies

This report highlights the importance of collecting data on sex/gender and age in humanitarian crises. It argues that the lack of data collection in these areas has affected the quality of services being provided to people in emergencies. Cases where organizations have and have not collected sex/gender and age data are evaluated. The report lays out concrete ways to improve data collection in humanitarian crises with the aim to inform better programming.
