16 Ideas for Addressing Violence Against Women in the Context of the HIV Epidemic
HIV programmes are a critical entry point for addressing violence against women for several reasons. Addressing violence can reduce barriers women face in accessing HIV prevention, treatment, care and support services. Positive change in both violence against women and HIV outcomes can be achieved through even small efforts to jointly address the dual epidemics.
