Mission Statement
Our mission is to create awareness in society on the violence suffered at household and community levels by senior women in the society. Our key objective is to influence policy on how the government can best protect the rights of elderly women. This is because they are prone to abuse where they are raped and even killed when they are branded as witches. Witchcraft in Kenya is seen as a female identity and so elderly women are targeted, killed, and disinherited.
