a. To promote and advance the interests of all children who may have to testify in court, including children who have been physically and sexually abused; b. To conduct research projects and offer other related services to children who may have to testify in court, including children who have been physically and sexually abused; c. To develop, implement and monitor innovative, research-based programmes for child witnesses; d. To create and present specialized training to all role-players involved in cases where physically and sexually abused children may have to testify; e. To cultivate comprehensive information and resources for relevant disciplines involved with the child witness; f. To highlight the need for a culture of shared responsibility amongst the disciplines towards improving child witness testimony.
