As activists it is vital for us to understand the contexts in which we do our work and that includes knowing and understanding the laws that govern us as well as those related to the work that we do. Part of our work as activists is to ensure that we aware of and that our fellow citizens are aware of the laws that protect their human rights, personhood dignity and well-being. We are starting off this process by sharing the Domestic Violence Act of Uganda. You can read the Act here.
