Creating rich bonds among VAW prevention activists and practitioners.

Members of the GBV Prevention Network come from different places, but we share common beliefs, motivations, and a dedication to preventing violence against women. We believe in joining our power to spearhead social transformation in our communities, so that women and men will be seen to be of equal worth and value. When we share our experiences, interests and an analysis of VAW, we become a more powerful collective that can effectively encourage social transformations. Building connections means building trust, sharing and learning from each other, and finding ways to engage, collaborate and support all of our efforts to prevent VAW in the Horn, East and Southern Africa.
