Twitter Chat on Solidarity with Feminist Goddiva Akullo

The GBV Prevention Network run a #SolidarityWins for Stronger VAW Prevention Movements social media campaign.

The campaign engaged activists to strive for solidarity now more than ever. Activists from the African region and beyond held conversations that enhanced understanding of this concept and what it means for movement building work.

As part of the campaign, a twitter chat with feminist Godiva Akullo highlighted the importance of intersectionality for solidarity and provided practical ideas on how everyone can support movements. Diving deeper, our campaign blog, delved into what movements are doing and can do around sexual harassment in the workplace focusing on the Ugandan context.
